Switch Fabrics

Evertz offers a wide range of high capacity switch fabrics for all types of facilities. The 3080IPX is available in 16/32/64/128 ports and the EXE-VSR is available from 576 to 2034 ports. The switch fabrics use SFP+, SFP28+ and QSFP28 technology to support 1/10/25/100GbE interfaces to meet any uncompressed video standard today and in the future.

The EXE-VSR leverages IP and SDI philosophies to provide a redundant and scalable switching core that is unmatched in the industry. The switch fabrics are format agnostic, non-blocking, and ultra low latency which makes them ideal for live production applications of any size. These switch fabrics enable smaller facilities to optimize workflows and global enterprises to share and distribute content over a wide area network.

The EXE-VSR is a high capacity IP switch fabric that revolutionizes the facility router. With support for 10GbE, 25GbE, and 100GbE ports, the EXE-VSR provides unmatched flexibility and scalability for transporting video, audio, and metadata over IP. The EXE-VSR is an ultra-low latency; non-blocking architecture that can simultaneously switch multiple formats including compressed (JPEG2000, H.264, MPEG-2, and HEVC) and uncompressed (SMPTE 2022-6, SMPTE RDD 37, SMPTE 302, SMPTE 2038, and SMPTE 2110) formats. IPX

The IPX product family is a high capacity modular IP switch fabric that fits into the EMX-FR and evEDGE frames. The IPX is available in a number of different sizes that include 16, 32, 64, and 128-ports of 10GbE. The modular nature of the IPX makes ideal for smaller/remote facilities, aggregation points, and distributed switching architectures. The 570IPG-X19 product family provides ultra-low latency SDI over IP encapsulation/de-capsulation.The 570IPG-X19 provide direct conversion for 18x 3G/HD/SD signals to either SMPTE 2022-6, SMPTE RDD 37, SMPTE 302, SMPTE 2038, and SMPTE 2110 formats. The 570IPG-X19 comes in two versions: one with support for 10GbE ports and the other support for 25GbE ports. The 570J2K is ideal for contribution applications that require JPEG2000 compression.

The 570J2K is a bulk 3G/HD/SD JPEG2000 encoder that supports 9 compression paths. The 570J2K features Evertz 4th generation ultra-low latency JPEG2000 codec technology.

Audio Gateways

The 570EMR-AG-HUB is designed for seamless integration of Evertz EMR audio signals to Evertz high capacity 3080IPX / EXE-VSR switch fabrics. This module provides translation between SMPTE ST 302 / AES67 / Evertz TDM. The 570EMR-AG-HUB future proofs existing and new EMR audio systems by bridging them to the IP domain. The 570EMR-AG-HUB offers an optional feature key to enables MADI IO to AoIP.

The 9821EMR-AG-HUB is designed for seamless integration of Evertz EMR audio signals to Evertz high capacity 3080IPX / EXE-VSR switch fabrics. The 7890MG is a modular Universal Gateway that is versatile with its interchangeable SFP+ that create a mix of formats that can be encapsulated / de-encapsulated to IP. The 7890MG supports 3G/HD/SD/ASI for video, AES for audio, and Ethernet for local LAN traffic. The 570ITXE is a Universal IP On Ramp gateway for incoming feeds: uncompressed or compressed over IP.
