The MIO-BLADE-Z22-SFP is a single-node FPGA accelerated compute blade. When used in conjunction with the SCORPION platform, the MIO-BLADE-Z22-SFP offers high-density FPGA processing nodes that are reconfigurable to provide media and Ethernet processing. MIO-BLADE-Z22-SFP provides the agility and flexibility of a virtualized environment while also ensuring low latency, low power, deterministic and reliable FPGA processing pipelines.
MIO-BLADE-Z22-SFP contains a single compute node that provides unmatched processing capacity. It is a compliment to the existing MIO-BLADE-Z21 platform by adding I/O options for SFP interfaces, allowing for direct Ethernet inferfacing on the card edge, to directly ingest optical video I/O, or to act as an FPGA-based network separation tool. The MIO-BLADE-Z22-SFP runs a single application at a time and can be reflashed to realize a different function to realize a virtualized solution on FPGA accelerated hardware.
