Open Ecosystem & Strategic Technology Partners
MAGNUM-OS is architected for seamless integration in standards-driven ST 2110 workflows. By prioritizing NMOS, PTP, IGMP, and SMPTE standards over proprietary protocols, we ensure your deployments scale with flexibility and future-proof compatibility. Our partnership approach delivers truly interoperable SDVN IP infrastructure.
Arista Networks
Work with a pre-configured Arista switch, that works to aggregate NMOS / IGMP devices into the Evertz ecosystem. We'll teach you how to validate that MAGNUM can move content through the third-party fabric.
Leader Electronics
Precision waveform and signal monitoring integrated via NMOS IS-04/05. Deep ST 2110-20/30/31/40 analysis with eye/jitter, audio loudness, and ANC data inspection.
No Vendor Lock-In
This course is designed with third-party in mind. Feel free to bring in your own NMOS devices, we can include them in the training.
Practical Lab
This course includes real access to real hardware, so you get that hands on experience. We're confident in this program.
Unified Control
Single-pane view across routing, switching, and test / measurement. Manage your entire ecosystem from one interface.
Comprehensive Two-Tier Curriculum
Our structured 40-hour curriculum progresses from operational fundamentals through advanced deployment techniques to expert-level troubleshooting. Each tier builds practical skills using real equipment in realistic broadcast scenarios.
Tier 1: Systems Specialist (8 Hours)
Learn to operate MAGNUM-OS in production environments. Master routing fundamentals, multiviewer control, naming and tagging conventions. Configure VUE panels, salvos, device layers, GO Bar interfaces. Navigate NMS for basic alarming and system monitoring.
This course is available online, or person at Evertz HQ. Up to 8 staff can take it simultaneously.
Tier 2: Deployments Engineer (32 Hours)
Learn to deploy and maintain ST 2110 systems. Configure cluster networking, NPT, syslog, and hostname resolution. Stand up environments with MAGNUM-OS: SDVN, Analytics, NMS, VUE, & more. All students receive their own MAGNUM & VUE, and get a step-by-step practical lab to stand up the control environment. We'll also go through scripted failure scenarios - learning how to diagnose, triage, and troubleshoot issues as they come up.
This course is available in person, either at Evertz HQ or by having our 2110 Flight Kit sent to you.
