Taken from the prestigious SCORPION Frames, and subsequently the 7800 series, the NEXX-SCORPION incorporates the best of the NEXX and the SCORPION. Creating the perfect merger of flexibility and size.

On the NEXX-670 we took one piece of hardware and made it flexible with software. In the NEXX-SCORPION, we did the opposite, taking flexible hardware with our Modular Input Output cards, also known as, MIOs. With this second dimension of versatility, the NEXX-SCORPION has everything you need to make your final product, from normalizing signals, to close caption, PTP generation, and much more. The NEXX-SCORPION will continue to grow to support any of our dual-slot MIO modules, that is 15 different hardware modules and counting.

The NEXX-SCORPION takes one slot in any NEXX frame with no limitation as to which slot or total number of NEXX-SCORPIONs in one NEXX frame. The combinations of MIOs is endless. Take inputs and outputs from anywhere in the frame including the MIOs and/or crosspoint. A SCORPION frame in a NEXX frame.

  • Route video anywhere in the router, like a 2110 destination
  • Route any flow type within a NEXX-SCORPION to another NEXX-SCORPION

NEXX-SCORPION NEXX module using one IO slot in either NEXX 3RU or NEXX 5RU frame and acts like a SCORPION frame, providing 4 DUO MIO module slots.

MIO-DANTE-IP Dual slot module for conversion between DANTE and ST2110-30.
MIO-HDMI-IN1-4K-IP Dual slot module for conversion of 12G/6G/3G/HD HDMI to ST2110 or SDI. Supports a subset of HDMI 2.0b without HDCP. For use in any SCORPION chassis types.
MIO-HDMI-OUT1-4K-IP Dual slot module for conversion of 12G/6G/3G/HD SDI or ST2110 to HDMI. Supports a subset of HDMI 2.0b without HDCP. For use in any SCORPION chassis types.
