X-CALIBER

X-CALIBER is the next generation of hardware-based high density media processing. It allows for high density encoding and decoding functions in locations where a large quantity of signals need to be processed. X-CALIBER acts as a compliment to other Evertz platforms like SCORPION where more flexibility, granular or multi-service format edge is required.

X-CALIBER is a combination of a 1RU chassis element that is populated with XIO processors to enable processing functions like H264, HEVC, and JPEG-XS encoding and decoding. With up to 2.6Tbps internal switching capacity, 800Gbps of network connectivity, and up to 64 paths of HEVC/H264 or 128 paths of JPEG-XS compression, X-CALIBER becomes an industry leading solution for bulk video processing in 1RU.
