The RFK-ITXE-HW-DUO is a high-performance, FPGA-accelerated server blade engineered to deliver exceptional capability for bulk signal normalization within professional broadcast and media environments. Supporting both 12G/3G/HD-SDI and IP interfaces, the RFK-ITXE-HW-DUO can ingest compressed streams, uncompressed SMPTE ST 2110, or SDI signals and leverage its integrated UDX (up/down/cross-conversion) and encode engines to normalize and distribute content to any required signal type. This makes the RFK-ITXE-HW-DUO an ideal platform for inter-facility distribution, contribution workflows, and complex production applications.
Purpose-built as a scalable and future-proof FPGA-based processing blade, the RFK-ITXE-HW-DUO provides the flexibility of a virtualized environment while maintaining the low latency and reliable real-time performance demanded by modern media operations.
The RFK-ITXE-HW-DUO platform offers multiple application builds, enabling it to be deployed for a variety of operational roles-including bulk transcoding, encode/decode workflows, gateway services, and comprehensive signal normalization. This modular application architecture ensures that customers can enable exactly the functionality they require, when they require it.
The RFK-ITXE-HW-DUO integrates seamlessly with MAGNUM-OS and Evertz X-Change, providing powerful orchestration capabilities that allow users to efficiently manage applications, licenses, and server resource pools. These tools simplify deployment and enable dynamic scaling of processing resources to meet evolving operational demands.
ITXE-APP
With the transition to IP, many facilities operate in a hybrid environment. Ingested content entering the workflow needs to be processed and ready to output to a variety of platforms and formats, which traditionally necessitates separate video processors, gateways, encoders, decoders, transcoders, up/down/cross converters and IPTV encoders. Evertz ITXE-APP offers the flexibility to take anything in and send anything out by providing a single point of entry for all compressed and uncompressed signals, eliminating the need for bulk infrastructure. The ITXE-APP therefore, is the ideal solution for hybrid broadcast facilities and broadcasters looking to transition to IP.
