Evertz' MIO-IP-CCE is a caption encoding and conversion engine that runs on the MIO-CPU hardware, delivering real-time insertion, extraction and manipulation of closed captions and WST teletext across SDI and SMPTE ST 2110 workflows.
It supports CEA-608/CEA-708 and WST (OP42/47), enabling bi-directional 608 ⇔ WST translation, channel/page remapping, passthrough and up-conversion of caption data, plus optional burn-in for 608 and teletext.
The MIO-CPU platform provides native ST 2110 alongside SDI I/O, with an intuitive WebGUI covering SDI/2110 I/O, crosspoint routing, Shuffle management, CTRL-A and NEWFOR live captioning, RTP monitoring, firmware/licensing, and diagnostics.
As a modular solution, MIO-IP-CCE fits into Evertz SCORPION-SX18 and SCORPION-2RU frames for high-density edge deployments.
