Single Path Downstream HD/3G/UHD IP Keyer with Logo Insertion

Designed for modern SMPTE ST 2110 broadcast and production environments, this versatile single-path downstream keyer features a software-enabled architecture that allows functionality to be activated as needed, providing exceptional flexibility for today's requirements and tomorrow's enhancements. Built on a robust modular hardware platform, it combines deterministic FPGA-based video processing augmented by embedded compute resources to deliver low latency, exceptional reliability, and the ability to expand capabilities as workflow requirements evolve. Supporting HD, 3G, and UHD video formats with SDR and HDR processing, it combines integrated logo insertion and broadcast-grade keying with the performance and dependability of a purpose-built IP platform, including support for UHD single-link SMPTE ST 2110 essence workflows over 100GbE infrastructure.

The 570DSK can be controlled externally from its locally hosted web, VUE (Evertz' customizable context oriented user interface), and/or by third-party automation system over IP. The 570DSK is VistaLINK® PRO capable, offering remote monitoring, control and configuration capabilities via Simple Network Management Protocol (SNMP).

Branding Engine

The Logo compositor resides on its own global layer, independent form other key layers, functionally can support static or animated logos from bug to full screen sizes. Each logo has parameter controls for X/Y position, visual layer priority, and Alpha percentage. Logo Ingest, management and control can be done via the Webeasy, logos are stored locally on a 250GB SSD storage with optional expansion. Additional software enable features can be added to the Branding engine for Text crawls and EAS.

Key / FILL layers

Separate from the Branding layer, there are two independent 16-bit RGB based Key/Fill layers that have independent external inputs, so they can be enabled without being compromised by other features. Each Key Layer also has enhanced controls for Key Layer Gain, Clip (Offset), Invert Key, including support for Additive / Multiplicative and a self-Key mode.

Configuration, Control and Monitoring

Accessible over a main and backup network connection the 570DSK rear plate, provides ability to configure and control. Logo ingest management and control also accessible from the is locally hosted web UI. External control can be accomplished with VUE (Evertz' customizable context-oriented user interface), and/or by third-party automation system with M2100 over TCP-IP connection. The 570DSK is MAGNUM-NMS capable, offering remote monitoring, control and configuration capabilities via Simple Network Management Protocol (SNMP).

VUE Driven Operator Control

Operator control is VUE driven solutions that can provide local to facility and/or remote customizable context-oriented user interfaces both touch surface and Tactile control panel. VUE can operate with the 570EDSK within a MAGNUM orchestration environment or as a standalone VUE user workstation.

570DSK-25G 570 Keyer hardware module with 2 front QSFP and 2 rear QSFPs capable of 10/25/100G Ethernet for IP core environments. The software enabled +options required for enabling functions like 2110 with Main and Backup 2022-7 signals, DSK for Key and Fill Inputs, MG for static and animated logo generator with VO, Video standards support HD, 3G, and UHD, as well as other features like Crawls and EAS support. QSFP modules are sold separately.
