NAB 2026 Spotlights

RF Distribution Moves to IP

Evertz showcases Software Defined Networking for RF (SDN-RF) to deliver a powerful RF-over-IP approach that transforms traditional signal distribution. Using DIFI standards, RF signals are digitized and packetized into IP streams at the edge. This solution enables flexible routing, centralized management, and seamless integration with virtualized and cloud-based workflows. Evertz' SDN-RF is a more scalable, cost-efficient architecture that reduces reliance on legacy coax and matrix switching, while improving resiliency, monitoring, and remote operations – bringing satellite ground systems in line with today's IP-first broadcast and distribution environments.

Moving to IP & Cloud-Based Solutions for the C-Band Transition

In light of the FCC's C-band transition, broadcasters are being pushed to rethink traditional distribution models. Evertz provides a future-ready alternative with XPS, Reflektor, and evertz.io XChange – a fully IP and cloud-based ecosystem that replaces satellite delivery with secure, scalable, and low-latency transport over managed networks and the public cloud. Evertz provides advanced capabilities that include market switching for flexible revenue opportunities. This approach not only reduces dependency on satellite infrastructure, but also enables greater flexibility, dynamic channel distribution, and seamless global reach-transforming a regulatory challenge into an opportunity to modernize and personalize content delivery.

Unmatched Control & Visibility of your ST 2110 network

MAGNUM-OS is an essential foundation for any SMPTE ST 2110 facility, providing the orchestration, control, and visibility required to manage dynamic IP media workflows. Whether powering a fully integrated Evertz Software Defined Video Network (SDVN) – including IP switch fabrics (ENX, EXE, NATX), edge devices (SCORPION, ev670, PREFEX), and timing (5800MSC) – or operating within a hybrid environment with third-party switches such as Cisco and Arista, and NMOS IS-04/05-compliant devices, MAGNUM-OS serves as the central intelligence that coordinates IP flows across the network. With comprehensive monitoring and real-time insight, it delivers unmatched visibility to keep facilities running at peak performance. The result is deterministic operation, faster troubleshooting, and seamless multivendor interoperability – reducing operational risk and enabling organizations to fully realize the flexibility, scalability, and efficiency of ST 2110.

One live event, infinite stories.

Delivering personalized content to fans is now a top priority for today's content owners, as audiences seek richer, more unique stories from every live event. Evertz addresses this challenge by combining ENX, BRAVO Studio, and evertz.io into a unified production ecosystem. ENX provides a high-performance IP fabric to move live signals seamlessly, while BRAVO Studio transforms a single event into multiple tailored productions. evertz.io extends these capabilities into the cloud, enabling scalable distribution and personalization. Together, they empower content creators to deliver viewer-specific experiences from a single live source – maximizing engagement, reach, and monetization across every platform.
