BRAVO Studio Tools
BRAVO Studio combines the independent elements required for a high-quality, broadcast-ready live production into a suite of tools that are accessible through a single interface. Some of the key tools include:
Live Switching
Switch between your live cameras and other media, while monitoring them through Evertz' VUE technology. The easy-to- use touchscreen interface will literally put the content control at the users fingertips, allow any level of operator to use the system. Multiple tactile peripheral surfaces are supported for traditional and advanced workflows.
Live Graphics
While supporting traditional live key / fill sources, operators can also import pre-produced graphics with key / fill layers and decide which graphical layer they will live on. Multiple key / fill layers, including support for HTML5 graphics, will allow for various live graphics to be placed on program simultaneously.
Media Player
The media player in BRAVO Studio allows you take your pre-produced content, graphics, music and clipped content during a show to playback that content easily and quickly. Utilizing metadata tags and bins to organize content, operators can then place those items in a Storyboard to playback multiple clips in a row or single-clip playback with the press of a simple widget on their touchscreen.
Slow Motion Replay
Quick slow motion replay functionality can be easily added to the BRAVO interface. For those larger productions, BRAVO Studio workflow can easily be scaled to support multiple operators with dedicated DreamCatcher™ replay stations. Replays and playlists can be sent to a rundown queue for your BRAVO operator to simply roll to replays, push and quickly transition back out to game action when necessary.
Integrated Transcode
BRAVO Studio's transcode engine allows operators to simply import content from multiple different codecs prior to the start of production. Utilizing a built-in bin structure to make their content easily organized and accessible during the show.
Clipping
BRAVO Studio allows for clipping of content off any input coming into the system. Utilize this in your show using storyboard or the integrated media player or simply clip and export content as needed.
Live Logging
Keeping track of your content is easy with the use of a simple metadata / tagging interface allowing the content on BRAVO Studio to be logged, marked and tagged with specific key words and naming conventions, making it easier to quickly return to key points in your production.
Advanced Audio Mixing and Production
In addition to BRAVOs internal audio processing by adding Vista BRAVO or any other Vista mixing console from Studer provides comprehensive audio production and mixing. The Vista series are fully-equipped to handle large numbers of sources and feeds, along with full surround management, integral interfacing capabilities to numerous source formats including SDI, AES, Dante, MADI and more. The integral audio router functionality means that systems may be much more closely integrated and controlled than before.
Multiviewer and Operational Controls
Using VUE-APPS, operators can build intuitive user interfaces with VUE to visualize incoming and outgoing streams and provide user controls for video and audio processing adjustments for event preparations and management.
Full Orchestration and Scheduling Capabilities
MAGNUM-OS, as the orchestration, control, monitoring, and analytics software layer, provides the ability to schedule resources and connections required for a live event based on a calendar entry. Live event preparations, signal routing, operator and engineering station setup with proper UIs are all orchestrated by MAGNUM-OS based on a schedule provided by the user.
BRAVO Studio Co-Pilots
Beyond providing a visual and intuitive interface for operators of all skill levels to produce live events, BRAVO Studio offers several advanced co-pilots to help make the production more efficient and consistent. These co-pilots include:
Storyboard
The Storyboard functionality can be used to pre-produce storylines, packages, show opens or even half-time segments prior to the start of a show. These storyboard segments allow operators to play multiple items of pre-produced content together in a row with a press of a single widget.
Smart Source
The Smart Source co-pilot allows operators to create picture-in-picture and mosaics with multiple sources and animated backgrounds to enhance the production value by having multiple sources on the program at the same time.
Timeline Record
A built-in EDL timeline allows for recording each and every operator decision throughout an entire show or pre-show giving the user the ability to create show fixes and edits seconds after a production ends.
The Timeline co-pilot uses DreamCatcher™ Live Edit, which will allow the operator to adjust audio levels, rearrange audio and video tracks, remove and delete content as well as extend that content. With the render free engine your edits can be done within seconds.
These timelines can be flattened for playback as individual clips within your live production or exported to an external drive for a perfect final product in the format you need.
Metadata
The Metadata co-pilot assigns real-time metadata to each frame of the incoming source. Metadata co-pilot supports common data providers (including Tracab, Stats Perform and Sportsradar) to add to the sources. The co-pilot will automatically clip content based on the the metadata to provide operators additional content to use in the production.
