When applications for routing, high performance productions or high density processing are required, Evertz offers our EV line of multi-card frames, informed by the success of our award-winning 7000 Series multiframes. The EV series was developed to allow cards with significantly larger individual size and power consumption to be matched in a multipurpose frame; all cards in this series occupy the full vertical height of the 6RU frame, and are installed horizontally in the 3RU and 1RU variations.

Cards can be mixed and matched within each frame to build complex signal processing chains. Products offered include video routing and audio routing, master control, IP media gateways, IP routing and bulk processing.

Additionally, all frames offer hot-swappable redundant power supplies that allow for power supply and fan replacement without compromising the integrity of critical signal paths, nor the true remote monitoring of all modules and signals within the chassis from VistaLINK® PRO (via the frame controller). This configuration provides the SNMP network communication interface from the VistaLINK® PRO Network Management Software to the chassis over the local or wide area network.
