MAGNUM ISP is a software module that provides Intelligent Signal Path finding by dynamically reconfiguring in-line Evertz conversion and processing devices as required. This minimizes the equipment overhead and management requirements traditionally needed in a multi format facility. MAGNUM ISP is able to automatically route and configure Evertz conversion equipment to automatically convert between an incoming SD signal and destination that requires the signal to be in a HD format. Using devices that are able to up convert, down covert, and cross-convert MAGNUM ISP is able to re-use these devices based on the conversion requirements of the operator.
Features
- Assignment of source and destination signal attributes
- Assignment of available Evertz conversion equipment
- Path costing rules
- Multi-path conversion support
- Dynamic re-assignment of Evertz conversion equipment based on conversion requirements
- Web interface for viewing conversion devices in use and ability to release paths
