The FRCX-2000 is a broadcast quality real-time frame rate converter for converting between the 59.94 and 50Hz frame rate families. The FRCX-2000 is ideally suited for all applications where international feed management requires high quality and low latency conversion to an alternate frame rate. This includes live Sports, News, Gaming and a host of other applications.
Further to delivering high quality and artifact-free frame rate conversion for both interlaced and progressive formats, the FRCX-2000 provides support for a variety of input and output formats including SDI, SMPTE ST 2110 and MPEG2-TS (MP2/H264/HEVC/JPEG XS) I/O. The FRCX-2000 is also equipped with an integrated audio engine that supports up to 32 channels and offers a list of advanced audio processing capabilities including up-mix, down-mix and IntelliGain technologies while maintaining audio/video alignment.
FRCX utilizes a 1RU platform supporting a single path of processing up to UHD resolutions. In addition to its core motion compensated conversion capabilities, the FRCX supports SDR to HDR up/down conversion capabilities with support for HLG/PQ and custom LUTs.
