Processing Multiframes

When applications for routing, high performance productions or high density processing are required, Evertz offers our EMX line of multicard frames. Drawing on tens of thousands of Evertz' award-winning 7000 series multiframes the EMX series was developed. This series of frames allows cards with significantly larger individual size and power consumption to be matched in a multipurpose frame. All cards in this series of frames occupy the full vertical height of the 6RU frame, and are installed horizontally in the 3RU and 1RU variations. Cards can be mixed and matched within each frame to build complex signal processing chains. Products offered include video routing and audio routing, Master control, IP media gateways, IP routing and bulk processing.

Additionally all frames offer hot-swappable dual redundant power supplies that allow for power supply and fan replacement without compromising the integrity of critical signal paths and true remote monitoring of all modules and signals within the chassis from VistaLINK® via the frame controller. This configuration provides the SNMP network communication interface from the VistaLINK® Network Management Software to the chassis over the local or wide area network.

EMX6-PS1-950W Power Supply can provide 950 watts @120V. 950 watts Note: The EMX6-PS1-950 watts is only compatible within a frame with another EMX6-PS1-950W. Legacy power supplies EMX6-PS-950 watts cannot be used in the same frame when a EMX6-PS1-950 watts is installed. Addition of an EMX6-PS1-950 watts to a legacy system will require the replacement of the legacy EMX6-PS-950 watts with another EMX6-PS1-950W power supply

Legacy Power Supplies for "EMX-FR-1000W"

EMX6-PS1-1200W Power Supply can provide 1200 watts @120V. Note: The EMX6-PS1-1200 watts is only compatible within a frame with another EMX6-PS1-1200W. Legacy power supplies (EMX6-PS-950 watts and EMX6-PS-1000W) cannot be used in the same frame when a EMX6-PS1-1200 watts is installed. Addition of an EMX6-PS1-1200 watts to a legacy system will require the replacement of the legacy EMX6-PS-950 watts or EMX6-PS-1000W, with another EMX6-PS1-1200 watts power supply.
