Project Manager (File Based, MAM & Playout Systems)

To coordinate and assist with the installation of Broadcast Media Solutions internationally in a professional and timely fashion. Driving the Project team to deliver the system to an agreed specification through the project lifecycle.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the planning and implementation of project
- Facilitate the definition of project scope, goals and deliverables
- Define project tasks and resource requirements
- Develop full scale project plans
- Assemble and coordinate project staff
- Manage project budget
- Manage project resource allocation
- Plan and schedule project timelines
- Track project deliverables using appropriate tools
- Provide direction and support to project team
- Quality assurance
- Constantly monitor and report on progress of the project to all stakeholders
- Present reports defining project progress, problems and solutions
- Implement and manage project changes and interventions to achieve project outputs
- Project evaluations and assessment of results
Qualifications:
- Education in Electronics/Electrical/Computers or related field
- Successful project implementation in a Broadcast software solution environment
- Working experience with broadcast automation and device control, Media management and desk top workflow
- Experience with Broadcast IT with network infrastructure
- Understanding in applications integration with business systems via the use of XML as the interchange format
- Knowledge of current digital video compression standards and file types
- Good written and verbal communications skills

Location: Burlington, Ontario
Hours: Monday - Friday, 40 hours.
Vacancy: This is an existing position.
Salary Range: $50,000. to $70,000 per year, based on experience.
