Comprehensive Three-Tier Curriculum

Our structured 40-hour curriculum progresses from operational fundamentals through advanced deployment techniques to expert-level troubleshooting. Each tier builds practical skills using real equipment in realistic broadcast scenarios.

Tier 1: Systems Specialist (10 Hours)

Learn to operate MAGNUM-OS in production environments. Master routing fundamentals, multiviewer control, naming and tagging conventions. Configure VUE panels, salvos, device layers, GO Bar interfaces. Navigate NMS for basic alarming and system monitoring.

Tier 2: Deployments Engineer (20 Hours)

Learn to deploy complete ST 2110 systems. Configure cluster networking, NPT, syslog, and hostname resolution. Stand up environments with Analytics, NMS, CH sync, VUE-CP licensing, and LDAP integration. Add devices via Arista manual discovery, Scorpion NMOS, and Prefex. Engineer PTP, NMOS/SDP, encapsulation, subscriptions, and bindings. Create software panel GUIs and advanced multiviewer configurations.

Tier 3: Troubleshooting Expertise (10 Hours)

Learn to diagnose and resolve common issues. Address oversubscription, PTP/SDP failures, link and SFP problems. Troubleshoot firewall conflicts, NMOS errors, MCS routing issues. Handle device swaps, fiber problems, and system recovery scenarios.

Ordering Information & Scheduling

Add MAGNUM-OS-EDU to your purchase order and schedule training through the Evertz Service Department within one year of invoice date. Training must be scheduled with minimum notice of 4 weeks for international locations or 2 weeks for US/Canada, subject to instructor availability. On-site travel and accommodation expenses are quoted and billed separately for flight kit deployments.
