FIFO (Fan-In/Fan-Out) RF Router - 16x32

The XRU1 is a 16x32 non-blocking RF router matrix designed in a compact 1RU form factor. This router offers operators the capability to perform both Fan-Out (distribution) and Fan-In (combination) functions within the same chassis, making it an ideal routing solution for both uplink and downlink applications. With a wide frequency range spanning from 40 – 2450MHz, it accommodates various signal types within the same matrix, including IF, L-Band, UHF/VHF and more.

The XRU1 features 1+1 redundant power supplies and frame controllers, equipped with a modular hot-swappable architecture that ensures rapid serviceability without any downtime. For a convenient and efficient means of remotely monitoring the signal health of both the inputs and outputs, an optional integrated spectrum analyzer provides this capability through an easy-to-use WebGUI.

For downlink applications, each input can be individually configured to supply 13/18V DC for LNB powering and a 22kHz tone for local oscillator control. Active current protection, combined with advanced monitoring and automatic recovery on a per-port basis, ensures a high level of reliability in powering the LNBs, offering peace of mind to operators. Additionally, the XRU1 includes an external 10MHz reference port, offering a convenient means to inject a 10MHz signal into the router's input ports.

An intuitive local control panel offers swift control and monitoring of all routes and system health. Meanwhile, the user-friendly web browser grants comprehensive access to all router controls and monitoring. Users also have the flexibility to choose from a variety of advanced touchscreen interfaces, X-Y style controls and virtual control panels.

The SNMP capability enables seamless integration with third-party M&C systems or Evertz' own VistaLINK® PRO NMS software. Additionally, for extended third-party support, the 7700R-SC-BRC protocol translator can bridge multiple third-party control systems. Evertz's MAGNUM unified facility control system facilitates the seamless integration of the XRU1 into efficient end-to-end facility control systems.

Spectrum Analyzer (-SA version)

Leveraging state-of-the-art digital technology and Fast Fourier transformations, the integrated spectrum analyzer performs lightning fast and accurate measurements with its powerful internal dual-core processor.

The spectrum analyzer is also referenced with the same 10MHz source used for LNB - all 16x inputs and 32x outputs have access to the spectrum analyzer.

A user-friendly standalone HTML5-based Graphical User Interface (GUI) is available for quick user access from any browser including IOS and Android devices. This allows users to monitor the system anywhere at any time by accessing the built-in web browser. For integration into a satellite terminal or larger carrier monitoring system, the user can create a separate interface using the publicly available API. SNMP and email notifications are also available for detection of carrier measurements that exceed user-defined thresholds.
