Vista BRAVO

12 motorized faders with access to 120 full fader strips

The Vista BRAVO combines a Studer control surface with advanced DSP as part of the BRAVO Studio production suite and VUE. Vista BRAVO's feature set allows it to handle the widest range of applications, small OB and ENG vans, small studios, mobile and remote productions. Allows for ST2110 AoIP integration by adding the 570EMR, 9821EMR or D23 audio gateways.

Integral I/O

The Vista BRAVO Digital Mixing System has one integrated 64-channel MADI I/O audio-only port, and 2 compact I/O modules that are 2 slots populated for 16-channel HQ Mic/line-in with 24-Bit A/D and 16-channel line out that use 24 Bit DAC.

Additional expansion is possible, Vista BRAVO uses Studer D21m I/O to enable a scalable, high-density 24-bit 48kHz audio system. Optional D21m I/O cards are available in popular formats and protocols - for example:

  • 4-channel D-type Mic/Line In with 4 Direct Outputs
  • 8-channel D-type Line In
  • 8-channel D-type Line Out
  • 8-channel D-type AES/EBU In/Out*
  • MADI, a maximum 128 channels of I/O
  • 8 to 16-channel SDI (SD/HD/3G) In or I/O

Although Vista BRAVO is part of the BRAVO Studio production suite it is still a standalone Audio mixer, just like the rest of the Studer Vista consoles. With increased popularity in fixed and mobile broadcast facilities, most engineers will already be familiar with the operation of the console, but new users will find themselves easily assimilating the Vistonics™ user interface.

Added benefit is compact footprint, but the Vista BRAVO is still fully-equipped to handle large numbers of sources and feeds, along with full surround management, integral interfacing capabilities to numerous source formats including SDI, AES, Dante, MADI and more. The integral audio router functionality means that systems may be much more closely integrated and controlled than before. In addition to the standard functionality, the input channels provide several broadcast live production specific features. Dedicated buttons for talkback (e.g. to Direct Out, N-1 etc.) and for user probable functions provide more flexibility and ease during live operation. Dedicated Matrix busses can be configured which suites the fixed install application but can also offer a fast and easy method of handling complex headphone feeds in a broadcast environment. 16 dedicated Mute Groups are also available.

Vista BRAVO boasts many of the full featured Vista, CUE- base productions, Enhances Theatre Cue Lists, Character / Actor Library Events, House of worship (HoW) specific work flows.
