When applications for routing, high performance productions or high density processing are required, Evertz offers our Dragon Fire (DF) series of multicard frames, drawing on tens of thousands of Evertz' award-winning EMX series multiframes.

This series of frames allows cards with significantly larger individual size and power consumption to be matched in a multi-purpose frame. Products offered include video routing and audio routing, IP media gateways, IP routing and bulk processing.

All cards in this series of frames can be installed vertically in the 10RU frame, and are installed horizontally in the 1RU variations. Cards can be mixed and matched within each frame to build complex signal processing chains.

Additionally, all frames offer hot-swappable N+1 dual redundant power supplies that allow for power supply and fan replacement without compromising the integrity of critical signal paths and true remote monitoring of all modules and signals within the chassis from VistaLINK® PRO. This configuration provides the SNMP network communication interface from the VistaLINK® PRO Network Management Software to the chassis over the local or wide area network.
