9780DM-VSB-LCP with Local Control Panel option
The 9780DM-VSB Series is a complete hardware-based 1RU solution for demodulating digital terrestrial 8VSB signals. The 9780DM-VSB has one demodulator enabled by default and is software upgradeable to utilize the four built-in demodulators.
The 9780DM-VSB is hardware equipped with 4x RF inputs, 2x ASI ports (configurable as inputs or outputs) and one RJ-45 IP port. An intuitive local control panel is also available on the '-LCP' version.
With flexible ASI and IP interfaces, the 9780DM-VSB provides an ideal solution for turnaround, transcoding, transporting, monitoring or other applications where the received signal remains in the compressed domain. For baseband output, the demodulator may be coupled with an Evertz decoder module, providing a full receiver solution.
Monitoring parameters such as demodulator lock, MER, BER, packet errors and TR101-PR errors present a convenient solution for broadcasters and cable companies who wish to not only receive but also to remotely monitor signal quality.
In addition to an on-board web interface, the 9780DM-VSB is VistaLINK® PRO PRO-capable, offering remote monitoring, control and configuration capabilities via Simple Network Management Protocol (SNMP). This offers the flexibility to manage operations, including signal monitoring and module configuration from an SNMP-capable NMS.
