Administrative Assistant - Payroll Department (20 months Contract Position)

Working with the Administrative group, you will be involved in the daily administrative operations within the Payroll department.

Responsibilities:

  • Tracking employee vacation days and absences and updating calendars/ records
  • Responding to employee questions regarding vacation bookings and entitlements
  • Processing employee timesheets
  • Organizing and distributing paystubs
  • Assist with New Hire Orientation
  • Updating reports, organizing and filing documentation
  • Processing employee address changes
  • Other administrative duties as required

Qualifications:

  • College or University Education, recent graduate
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Problem-solving ability, time management skills and interpersonal skills
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word & Excel)

Location: Burlington, ON
