Student Administrative Assistant - HR and Payroll

We have the following co-op opportunity available:
Working with the Administrative group, you will be involved in the daily operations of HR and Payroll Department.
You will be responsible for:
- General Administrative duties, filing, faxing, and photocopying
- Enter data accurately and efficiently into company database
- Provide Administrative support
- Other duties as assigned
- Training: Updating and maintaining training database; assisting with New Hire Orientation
- Payroll: Prepare new employee files; payroll distribution; ad hoc reports
- Health and Safety: Updating and maintaining records
- Currently enrolled in a Business Administrative program, or related
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, problem solving ability, time management skills and interpersonal skills
