When building frames of modules, sometimes it can be helpful to attach tags or
labels to specific modules to keep track of their function or to act as
reminders to other people in your organization who may need to work with the
configuration images you generate. To attach a label to a module, right click
the module and select
Module Label. A popup will appear
allowing you to enter a label for the module. Once added, labels will be
written onto the module when the layout tool generates a PNG, EPS or DXF image
of your frame.
Rear Panel Only and Future Purchase
In addition to text labels, the layout tool allows you to designate modules as
Rear Panel Only or Future Purchase. Select either or both of
these options by right clicking a module and choosing it from the context
menu. When submitted in an ordering context, a Rear Panel Only module
will not be included in the order, but the rear panel or plate will be
included. This is useful for ordering rear panels for modules you may already
own. The Future Purchase option allows you to add modules to a frame
order that will not be ordered at all, neither module nor rear panel. However
your frame will have a visual representation of where the module you may order
in the future will be placed.
The EMX3-FR frame has a maximum power consumption rating of
