Bookkeeper (Hungary)


Responsibilities:

  • Report to Canadian Head Office, while working as part of a team
  • Assist with the following:
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and yearly closing process and generation of financial statements for local operations
  • Budget and cash flow management
  • Corporate income tax and sales tax compliance
  • Enter invoices and journal entries into Sage
  • Complete monthly VAT returns
  • Process employee expenses
  • Prepare bank reconciliations
  • Sales performance reporting, tracking and analysis

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors Degree in Accounting or equivalent
  • 3-5 years related experience required
  • Must be able to read and speak Hungarian and English
  • Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem solving skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office software

Location: Budapest, Hungary
